About Sandy Norton, Founder

Sandy Norton, owner of Sunshine Everyday, lives with her husband and three sons in Sarasota, Florida. In addition to creating this fun line of inspirational clothing, she also owns and operates Décor du Jour, a faux finishing company that offers unique, custom finishes for all surfaces including walls, ceilings, accent décor, and architectural features. Growing up in Pennsylvania, Sandy learned at an early age from her grandfather and her mother to have a positive, loving attitude towards all living things. From family and friends to animals and her garden, Sandy believes that kindness is the most important virtue. She has also come to learn that a positive attitude is key to a happy and abundant life. This passion for the positive is reflected in Sunshine Everyday, where her goal is to help others express their passions.

About Toby Norton, Illustrator

Toby Norton, Sandy's oldest son, is the creator of Sunny Ray. He is a 2006 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, where he majored in Illustration. He resides in Sarasota, Florida, where he illustrates children's books and creates new Sunshine Everyday designs. His keen sense of humor and ability to convey feelings through his drawings are what give Sunny Ray the whimsical personality that everyone loves.
