Green Everyday from SUNSHINEeveryday
We at Sunshine Everyday want to do our part to help the planet and create awareness of the importance of making eco-friendly choices. In that effort, we are proud to introduce our line of “Green” products and apparel. Our shirts and hats are made of bamboo, organic cotton and/or hemp., and we are now offering Sunshine Everyday market bags which we hope you will use instead of plastic when making purchases at your favorite stores. They’re also great for toting books to the library, packing a picnic, or carrying your change of clothes to the gym! Additionally, we are offering reusable water bottles to help cut down on the use of all those disposable plastic bottles.
Why organic?
Bamboo is a grass, grows like a weed, and is the fastest growing plant on the planet. It can grow up to three feet in a day, and doesn't need help from pesticides or insecticides, fertilizers, or irrigation water. The pulp from bamboo is ground up, and the fibers are spun into yarn, resulting in a fabric that is softer than cotton, wicks moisture, keeps you cooler, provides UV protection, and is naturally anti microbial so it doesn't retain odors.
Organic cotton also requires no irrigation and is grown without the use of pesticides, insecticides, toxins or synthetic fertilizers. Organic cotton is produced without the use of harsh chemical bleaches or dyes, and is allergy free. It is soft and feels so good next to the skin.
Industrial hemp is also a grass and grows like a weed, because it is one. Like bamboo, it doesn't need any help to thrive. It has no need for pesticides or insecticides, and it grows on rain water. Like bamboo, it offers superior performance compared to cotton: hemp fibers are more durable, provide better UV protection, wick moisture, and are anti-microbial.
These organic products provide natural luxury while being fashionable with creative and inspirational designs and beautiful colors. See for yourself how soft and comfy these products are! You’ll want to wear one . . . Everyday!
